March update!

March was a BIG month for Feeding Villages! Take a look at what we've accomplished!  On March 31st, our team in Uganda distributed 100 kgs of rice, 50 kgs of beans, and 50 kgs of peanuts to over 45 families! Since we've began Feeding Villages, we've given nearly 1000 kgs of food and we don't plan on stopping anytime soon! We distributed 480 fresh eggs to pregnant women and families with young children. Not only do adults and kids love the taste eggs, they are among the most nutritious foods on the planet, containing high-quality protein, fats, and essential vitamins and minerals. February Update!

As Feeding Villages wraps up February, we wanted to take some time and provide you an update on what we've accomplished this past month!  Feeding Villages continues to visit and distribute much need food in the village of NangungaOn February 24th, our Uganda team distributed 100 kgs of rice, 50 kgs of beans, and 50 kgs of peanuts to over 45 families! We also donated 8 large units of fortified, powered milk to pregnant women with infant/young children and 50 bars of soap to help keep hands clean prior to eating! Feeding Villages will be launching a new initiative called Seeds of HopeOur goal is to…

In this exclusive interview with Feeding Villages, Nakato Feriste, a villager in Nangunga, Uganda, speaks about her daily challenges with food and other basic necessities. January Food Assistance Distribution Event Update

On January 27th, Feeding Villages once again visited the community of Nangunga in Uganda and sponsored a food assistance distribution event! SO, WHAT DID WE ACCOMPLISH? We were able to distribute 100 kgs of rice, 50 kgs of beans, and 50 kgs of peanuts to over 50 families as part of our food assistance initiative! We gained commitment from village leaders and the village health team to combat food and nutrition challenges utilizing a community centered approach with a direct focus on sustainable initiatives.
