From everyone at Feeding Villages, we are so pleased to announce our 501(c)(3) status by the IRS. This has been a long process, but we are glad to be where we are today! Being "501(c)(3)" means that a particular nonprofit organization has been approved by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt, charitable organization. "Charitable" is broadly defined as being established for purposes that are religious, educational, charitable, scientific, literary, testing for public safety, fostering of national or international amateur sports, or prevention of cruelty to animals and children. Excel Junior School Lunch Program Launched!

It's the day we all have been waiting for! The launch of our First School Lunch Program!! Feeding Villages set to Launch School Lunch Program in Nangunga, Uganda

Feeding Villages is proud to announce our partnership with Excel Primary School in Nangunga, Uganda. Starting in August, we will begin serving all 300 of their students a nutritionally-balanced lunch each and every school day! This school lunch program will be a lifeline for 300 students and their parents living in a region plagued by malnutrition and food insecurity. Based on our interviews with parents, most of the their children attend school with nothing to eat for the entire day. Feeding Villages Rehabs Well in Nangunga, Uganda

In Nangunga, Uganda, families used to walk for hours each day just to retrieve unsafe, unclean water. After listening to the needs of families in the village, Feeding Villages worked with our partners in Uganda to rehab an existing water well.  This water well project has changed the lives of hundreds of people, especially women and young children who are tasked to retrieve water daily for their families. Water supply, sanitation, and hygiene, given their direct impact on infectious diseases like cholera and dysentery, are important for preventing malnutrition. April Update!

Here's another update from Feeding Villages! We've been working hard in Nangunga, Uganda and wanted to share with you what we've accomplished in April! On April 28th, we distributed 100 kgs of rice, 50 kgs of beans, 50 kgs of peanuts, 150 eggs, and 6 tins of powered milk to families living in Nangunga, Uganda as part of our Food Assistance Initiative! We were able to raise over $500 for our Clean Water Initiative in Nangunga! Thanks to all the donors who generously contributed to this project. Feeding Villages contributed the rest of the funds needed to launch this project.…
