February Update!

You are currently viewing February Update!

As Feeding Villages wraps up February, we wanted to take some time and provide you an update on what we’ve accomplished this past month!

  • Feeding Villages continues to visit and distribute much need food in the village of Nangunga
    • On February 24th, our Uganda team distributed 100 kgs of rice, 50 kgs of beans, and 50 kgs of peanuts to over 45 families!
    • We also donated 8 large units of fortified, powered milk to pregnant women with infant/young children and 50 bars of soap to help keep hands clean prior to eating!
  • Feeding Villages will be launching a new initiative called Seeds of Hope
    • Our goal is to erect nutritious vegetable and fruit gardens in Nangunga and other villages in Uganda.
    • These gardens will not only provide nutritious food to those most in need, it will serve as an educational center for all villagers to come and learn more about how to grow these nutritious foods at home!
  • Feeding Villages launched a blog
    • Read about nutrition in Uganda, dive into real life stories from villagers, and connect with other like minded contributors on our blog. Fresh content is posted regularly!

Our efforts are supported by the generous donations from people like you. Help someone in need by giving the gift of nutritious food today!
